Dutch Oven turkey Breast

If you are looking for a faster way to cook a turkey and your family prefers the white meat, look no further. Roast some vegetables along with the turkey.

What WE NEED:

bone in, turkey breast

 butter

garlic powder

fresh herbs

pepper

salt

low sodium broth choice of vegetables

Butter and herbs are the secret to juicy, delicious turkey. Rubbing butter and herbs under and on top of the skin will give tons of flavor and crisp up that skin.

– Cooking your turkey in a Dutch oven has so many benefits. The meat comes out so juicy and will have a nice crisp skin if you don't cover it. And you can add lots of vegetables along with the turkey, so it literally is a one pot meal.

- Rub seasonings and butter onto the turkey and under skin. - Cook Turkey in preheated oven for one hour. -Turn oven down to 325°F.

- Add vegetables and herbs to Dutch oven. - Cook vegetables until they are tender-crisp. Cook Turkey for another hour.  Test with a meat thermometer.  Turkey is done when it registers at least 160°F.
