Julienne Salad, is a healthy, vegetable salad that includes sliced meats, cheeses and a variety of vegetables . We are serving it with a simple lemon dijon dressing. You will love how quickly it is put together for lunch or a main meal.

       ingredients: –   celery –  cucumber –  carrot,  – bell pepper – red onion – radishes – cherry tomatoes –  hardboiled eggs – sliced turkey –roast beef, Swiss cheese, Romaine lettuce-chopped * **All meats and cheeses are sliced about 2-3 inches long and about 1/2 inch wide.  It is not an exact measurement, slice as you prefer.***

Julienne Salad, otherwise known as Chef’s Salad is essentially a salad consisting of hard-boiled eggs, a variety of meats (such as ham, turkey, chicken or roast beef), tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese, all served on a bed of lettuce or other leafy greens.

Julienne Slice celery, onion, carrots and peppers. Slice the cucumber, tomatoes, radishes vertically in thin-shaped circles.

Chop the romaine lettuce in small pieces.

Julienne slice the roast beef,  turkey and cheese. Cut the hardboiled eggs into quarters. .

Here is the beauty of this salad; you just place the lettuce on the bottom of the platter and layer the meats, cheeses, eggs and vegetables and herbs on top!

Whisk the fresh lemon juice – sugar or sugar substitute –  Dijon mustard –  olive oil –.  garlic paste or minced garlic – salt and pepper to taste. Serve separately with the salad.
